Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Marrakech – Kik Plateau – Lalla Takerkoust – Agafay Desert
Our professional driver, fluent in your language, will pick you up from your accessible hotel or riad in Marrakech, the airport, or an agreed-upon location. We will depart the city in a private, comfortable, and air-conditioned vehicle towards the foothills of the High Atlas.
The route will cross the Kik Plateau, an open landscape dotted with Amazigh stone and adobe villages, cultivated fields, and vast panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. During the colder months, and whenever the sky is clear, you can admire its snow-capped peaks.
We will continue towards the Lalla Takerkoust reservoir and stop for lunch in the region. Lunch and drinks will be at your own expense. Afterwards, we will venture into the stony landscape of the Agafay Desert, located approximately 40 kilometers from Marrakech, passing through grazing areas and small settlements via tracks suitable for the vehicle and current conditions.
Upon arrival at the selected camp, you will have time to settle in and watch the sunset. Dinner and accommodation are included. The camp category, type of tent, and availability of private bathroom and shower will be confirmed in the final quote. Camel rides, quad biking, and other activities are optional and will only be included when expressly indicated.
Day 2
Agafay Desert – Marrakech
After breakfast at the camp, you will have some free time to enjoy the tranquility and morning landscape. At the agreed time, the driver will provide private transfer back to Marrakech.
We can drop you off at your accommodation, another agreed-upon location, or Marrakech airport, provided the departure time has been coordinated in advance with sufficient allowance for traffic and airport procedures.
This two-day Agafay getaway with Viajes Almoravid will conclude at the agreed-upon point.
