Pickup in Marrakech – Argan forests – Essaouira
Our professional driver, who speaks your language, will pick you up at approximately 7:30 AM at your hotel, accessible riad, or agreed-upon nearby meeting point in Marrakech. We recommend starting early to make the most of the day, although we can adjust the departure time to suit the group's needs.
The private journey to Essaouira takes about two and a half hours without stops. Along the way, we will pass through the argan region and can stop at a local cooperative to learn about the traditional process of making argan oil for food and cosmetics. The visit is optional, and there is no obligation to buy. Including this stop, the trip usually takes around three hours.
Free time
Discover Essaouira
Arrival is scheduled for approximately between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. You will have free time to explore the medina, a World Heritage site, the ramparts and cannons of the Skala, the fishing port, the souks, and the promenade along the Atlantic. You can also have lunch, enjoy the beach, or arrange optional activities on your own.
This excursion does not include a local guide for the city tour. If you wish to explore Essaouira with an official guide, you can request it in advance, and we will add it to your quote.
Afternoon
Essaouira – Marrakech
Around 3:30 PM, or at the previously agreed-upon time, we will meet the driver again to begin the direct return journey. The trip usually takes about two and a half hours, with an estimated arrival in Marrakech around 6:00 PM.
We will drop you off at your accommodation or the agreed-upon accessible point, concluding this private excursion to Essaouira with Viajes Almoravid.
