12-Day Grand Tour of Morocco from Casablanca

Day 1

Arrival in Casablanca – City Tour

Upon your arrival, our driver, who speaks your language, will meet you at Casablanca Airport or at the exact agreed meeting point. The transfer will be made in a private, comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle.

Depending on the schedule, you will have time to discover the city and see the Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche seaside promenade and other emblematic places. Entrance to the interior of the mosque is optional and subject to its official visiting hours.

You will spend the night in a selected hotel or riad in Casablanca, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 2

Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

After breakfast, we will travel to Rabat. You will have time to discover the Kasbah of the Oudayas, Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the medina, depending on the schedule. Entrance fees are at your own expense.

In the afternoon, we will continue along the Atlantic coast to Asilah. You will have free time to stroll through its white medina, Portuguese walls and seaside promenade. You will spend the night in a selected riad, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 3

Asilah – Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will head towards Tangier. Depending on the schedule, we may make a brief panoramic stop before continuing to Tetouan, where you will have free time to discover its medina and its Spanish-Moroccan heritage.

We will then continue to Chefchaouen for a first walk through its famous blue streets and viewpoints. This will be the first of two nights in a selected riad in the medina, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 4

Chefchaouen – Free Day

After breakfast, you will have the day free to discover Chefchaouen at your own pace: the kasbah, Uta el-Hammam Square, the souks, the blue streets and the viewpoints over the Rif Mountains.

Entrance fees and optional activities are at your own expense. You will return to the same riad for the second night, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 5

Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, we will travel to Volubilis. You will be able to explore its Roman ruins; the entrance fee and any specialised guide are not included.

We will continue towards Meknes to discover, depending on the schedule, Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square and the surroundings of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Fez for the first of two nights in a selected riad, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 6

Fes – Guided City Tour

After breakfast, an official local Spanish-speaking guide will accompany you through the medina of Fez. The tour may include Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, the exterior of Al Quaraouiyine, the souks, the tanneries, the Mellah and the gates of the Royal Palace.

Entrance fees are not included. The afternoon will be free for further sightseeing or shopping. You will spend the second night in the same riad.

Day 7

Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, we will travel toward Ifrane and the cedar forest. When conditions permit, we may observe Barbary macaques without feeding or disturbing them.

We will cross the Middle Atlas, travel through the Ziz Valley and pass through Erfoud. Lunch and visits to local workshops are optional. In Merzouga, you will take the camels, normally one per person, to reach the desert camp at sunset; a 4×4 transfer may be requested in advance.

At the camp, you will enjoy Berber tea, dinner and accommodation. The category of the tent and the availability of a private bathroom will be confirmed in the quotation.

Day 8

Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Old Mines – Nomad Families – Merzouga

After sunrise, breakfast and time to freshen up, we will take a 4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi.

We will respectfully discover the Gnawa music of Khamlia, old tracks and mining areas, viewpoints over the dunes and, when available, visit a nomad family. Lunch is at your leisure.

At the end of the day, you will stay in a selected hotel in Merzouga, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 9

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and head towards Rissani. When the market is open and the schedule allows, we will have the opportunity to discover its traditional atmosphere.

We will continue to the Todra Gorges, where you can walk between the impressive canyon walls, before continuing through the Dades Valley, the Valley of the Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Lunch is at your leisure.

Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, visits to Taourirt and the film studios will be optional, depending on the schedule. You will spend the night in a selected hotel or riad, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 10

Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Entrance fees to paid sites are not included.

We will continue through Telouet, where visiting the interior of the kasbah is optional and will depend on road conditions and the schedule. We will then cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops whenever conditions allow.

In the afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech for the first of two nights in a selected riad, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 11

Marrakech – Guided City Tour

After breakfast, an official local Spanish-speaking guide will accompany you through Marrakech. The tour may include the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the souks and Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Entrance fees are not included. The afternoon will be free and you will spend the second night in the same riad, with breakfast included and dinner at your leisure.

Day 12

Marrakech – Airport Transfer

After breakfast and check-out, the programme will be adapted to your flight schedule. Our driver will collect you for your private transfer to Marrakech Airport, allowing sufficient time for traffic and departure formalities.
