Morning
Marrakech pickup – High Atlas foothills – Ourika Valley
At approximately 9:00 AM, our professional driver, who speaks your language, will pick you up from your hotel, accessible riad, or an agreed-upon nearby meeting point in Marrakech.
We will head toward the foothills of the High Atlas, passing through fields, hills, and traditional Amazigh villages. After about an hour, we will arrive at the Ourika Valley, where the river, mountains, and village life offer a pleasant contrast to Marrakech.
During the day
Villages, river, and optional experiences
We will visit various villages in the valley and stop at viewpoints when conditions permit. We can also visit a traditional weekly market if it coincides with the day of the excursion and its opening hours.
Optionally, you may visit a traditional local house, have Moroccan tea, or enjoy lunch at one of the riverside restaurants. These visits, food, and drinks are not included, and there is no obligation to make a purchase.
If you wish to hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls, we recommend wearing suitable footwear and hiring an official local mountain guide. The hike will depend on the weather, trail conditions, and the physical fitness of each traveler. The guide and related expenses are not included unless they are explicitly listed in the quote. The driver provides transportation and can offer recommendations, but does not replace a specialist guide during the hike.
Afternoon
Ourika Valley – Marrakech
At the agreed time in the afternoon, we will begin our return to Marrakech. We will drop you off at your accommodation or the agreed accessible point, usually with enough time to enjoy a quiet evening in the city.
