Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Marrakech – Kik Plateau – Lalla Takerkoust – Agafay Desert
Our professional Spanish-speaking driver collects you from your Marrakech hotel, an accessible riad, the airport or another agreed meeting point. We leave the city in a comfortable private air-conditioned vehicle and travel towards the foothills of the High Atlas.
The journey crosses the Kik Plateau, an open landscape surrounded by stone and adobe Amazigh villages, farmland and sweeping views of the Atlas. Snow-capped summits may be visible in the colder months when weather conditions are clear.
We continue towards Lalla Takerkoust reservoir and stop for lunch in the region. Lunch and drinks are at your own expense. Afterwards, the route enters the stony Agafay Desert, around 40 kilometres from Marrakech, passing pastoral landscapes and small settlements along tracks adapted to the vehicle and current conditions.
At the selected camp, you will have time to settle in and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight accommodation are included. The camp category, tent type and availability of a private bathroom and shower are confirmed in the final quotation. Camel rides, quad biking and other activities are optional and are only included when expressly stated.
Day 2
Agafay Desert – Marrakech
After breakfast at the camp, you will have some free time to enjoy the quiet morning landscape. At the agreed time, the driver provides the private return transfer to Marrakech.
Drop-off can be at your accommodation, another agreed location or Marrakech airport, provided that the departure time has been coordinated in advance with sufficient allowance for traffic and airport formalities.
The two-day Viajes Almoravid escape to Agafay ends at the agreed point in Marrakech.
