Pickup in Marrakech – argan forest – Essaouira
Our professional Spanish-speaking driver collects you at approximately 7:30 a.m. from your hotel, an accessible riad, or the nearest agreed vehicle meeting point in Marrakech. We recommend an early departure to make the most of the day, although the pickup time can be adapted to the group.
The private drive to Essaouira takes around two and a half hours without stops. On the way, we cross the argan-growing region and may stop at a local cooperative to learn how argan oil is traditionally produced for culinary and cosmetic use. This visit is optional and there is no obligation to buy. With the stop, the journey generally takes around three hours.
Free time
Discover Essaouira
Arrival is expected at approximately 10:00–10:30 a.m. You will have free time to discover the UNESCO-listed medina, Skala ramparts and cannons, fishing port, souks and Atlantic seafront. You can also enjoy lunch, the beach or optional activities at your own expense.
This excursion does not include a local city guide. If you would like a guided visit, it can be requested in advance and quoted separately.
Afternoon
Essaouira – Marrakech
At approximately 3:30 p.m., or at the previously agreed time, you meet the driver and begin the direct return journey. The drive normally takes around two and a half hours, with arrival in Marrakech at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Drop-off is at your accommodation or the nearest accessible agreed point, bringing your private Essaouira day trip with Viajes Almoravid to an end.
