Early morning
Pickup in Marrakech – High Atlas – Tizi n’Tichka
At approximately 7:30 a.m., our professional Spanish-speaking driver collects you from your hotel, an accessible riad, or the nearest agreed vehicle meeting point in Marrakech.
We travel into the High Atlas along the Tizi n’Tichka road, stopping at panoramic viewpoints when conditions and timing allow. The mountain pass lies at more than 2,200 metres above sea level, and weather can affect the programme, especially in winter.
During the day
Telouet – Ounila Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate region
When the access road and opening hours permit, we continue to Telouet Kasbah, also known as the Glaoui Kasbah. Interior admission and any local guide are optional and paid separately.
The route then follows the landscapes of the Ounila Valley towards the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. You will have time to walk through the village, admire its adobe architecture and enjoy lunch in the area. Lunch, admission to paid spaces and a local guide are not included.
According to the time available, the excursion may continue towards Ouarzazate for a panoramic stop or an optional visit to Taourirt Kasbah or the film studios. Because this is a one-day programme, the driver will coordinate the priorities with the group so that the return journey can be completed safely.
Afternoon and evening
Ouarzazate region – High Atlas – Marrakech
In the afternoon we begin the return journey across the High Atlas. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the evening, although the exact time will depend on traffic, stops and mountain-road conditions.
Drop-off is at your accommodation or the nearest accessible agreed point, bringing your private Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou day trip with Viajes Almoravid to an end.
