Morning
Pickup in Marrakech – High Atlas foothills – Ourika Valley
At approximately 9:00 a.m., our professional Spanish-speaking driver collects you from your hotel, an accessible riad, or the nearest agreed vehicle meeting point in Marrakech.
We travel towards the foothills of the High Atlas, passing fields, hills and traditional Amazigh villages. After approximately one hour, we reach the Ourika Valley, where the river, mountain scenery and village life create a refreshing contrast with Marrakech.
During the day
Villages, river and optional experiences
We drive through several valley villages and stop at panoramic points whenever conditions allow. A local weekly market may be visited when it coincides with the excursion date and opening time.
You may optionally visit a traditional local house, enjoy Moroccan tea or have lunch at one of the riverside restaurants. These visits, food and drinks are not included, and there is no obligation to make a purchase.
If you wish to walk towards the Setti Fatma waterfalls, we recommend suitable footwear and an official local mountain guide. The walk depends on weather, trail conditions and each traveller’s physical ability; the guide and any related costs are not included unless expressly added to the quotation. The driver provides transport and recommendations but does not replace a specialist walking guide.
Afternoon
Ourika Valley – Marrakech
At the agreed time in the afternoon, we begin the return journey to Marrakech. Drop-off is at your accommodation or the nearest accessible agreed point, normally in time to enjoy the evening in the city.
