Your Merzouga accommodation – Erg Chebbi panoramic viewpoint
Your local driver collects you at the agreed time from your hotel, riad or accessible camp in the Merzouga area. From there, the private 4x4 circuit around the dunes begins.
The first stop is a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the vast Erg Chebbi dunes and the camps set within the desert. You have time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.

A respectful encounter with a nomad family
We continue towards an area inhabited by nomad families. Always respectfully, with their consent and subject to availability, you will learn about their way of life, customs and adaptation to desert conditions.
You share traditional tea with the host family in a friendly setting. This is intended as a respectful human encounter, and the visit may vary to protect the family's privacy and daily routine.
History and culture
M’Fis mines – Khamlia village
The circuit continues to the former M’Fis mines, a place connected with the region's mining history. Your local driver shows you the surroundings and explains their place in desert life.
The final major stop is Khamlia, a village known for its community and Gnawa musical tradition with sub-Saharan roots. You enjoy a traditional music performance, learn more about this cultural expression and may join the musicians in dancing if you wish.
At the end of the experience, the 4x4 returns you to your accommodation in Merzouga.
